Learn more about FECAFEB

The Federation of Coffee Growers Exporters of Bolivia FECAFEB (founded on May 15, 1991), is a national, non-profit, autonomous organization that concentrates and represents peasant and/or community economic organizations, formed by the decision of individual producers, although it also contemplates the incorporation of small, medium, large, social base companies dedicated to the collection, transformation, industrial processing and marketing of coffee, as non-productive associations.

The Bolivian Federation of Coffee Growers Exporters is a comprehensive organization specializing in production management, technical assistance and marketing in the coffee sector, with economic and social principles, and includes 42 Producer organizations grouped in Cooperatives, Associations and Coracas, in several departments at the national level (La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba).

FECAFEB, in its activities of sectoral representation of the Bolivian coffee sector, carries out actions at the national level with Municipal, Departmental and Central governments and public and private institutions.

At the international level, it manages trade relations with buyers in Europe, the United States, and other countries interested in Bolivian coffee. The coffee-producing sector is a non-traditional industry that generates foreign exchange, encompassing approximately 17,500 coffee-growing families dedicated to producing a high-quality product recognized internationally.
